About Aubrey Falk

Aubrey Falk is a 3rd generation born native of Santa Barbara, California. Growing up at the beach, she developed a great appreciation and love for our oceans and the environment.

Her natural ability to create art was noticed at a young age, and she held her first solo art show when she was 16. From there her free spirit took flight, inspired to travel the globe to experience new cultures and pursue her passion of surfing and riding waves. She has since spent extended periods of time in Mexico, Central America, Hawaii, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Maldives.

In May 2008 she Co-Founded a Non-Profit organization called Surfers Without Borders with her husband Loren Luyendyk. Their mission is to create projects that promote environmental awareness, reduce ocean pollution, support sustainable development, and foster good relations between surfers and coastal communities around the world.

The wellbeing of our internal environment is equally important to Aubrey as our outer environment. Over the last 10 years she has devoted much time to explore this inner connection, studying the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, Byron Katie, Don Miguel Ruiz, Abraham, and others, as well as exploring various meditation practices, yoga, and dance. In 2006 Aubrey began taking classes at the Kali Institute of Massage and Somatic Therapies. Her studies have included Energy, Breath and Chakra Balancing, Massage Therapy and Rebirthing/Integrative Breathwork.

Aubrey is inspired by the endless possibilities of creation and the mysteries, beauty and depth of life.
